On December 24, 2007 iVerify.US Inc., a Charlotte, NC-based interactive video monitoring company, announced the acquisition of Smart Intractive Systems Inc., the video monitoring business of Magal Security Systems Ltd., (NASDAQ MG: MAGS) for $8.5 million.
iVerify, one of the largest dedicated video monitoringcenters in the country, services national retailers, financial institutions and public utilities. It operates its National Video Monitoring Center from Charlotte, North Carolina.
